Extended Warranty Information

At NorthTech Irrigation, we provide a standard 1-year parts and labor warranty with all installations. Our extended warranty offers additional protection beyond the standard installation coverage.

Extended Warranty Options:

$75.00 – Extends the parts and labor warranty to 2 years from the installation or builder warranty date.

$125.00 – Extends the parts and labor warranty to 3 years from the installation or builder warranty date.

Warranty Coverage Guidelines:

NorthTech Irrigation will repair, at no charge, any professionally installed product that fails under normal use within the selected warranty period. However, the following exclusions apply:

Damage due to natural disasters (e.g., lightning, flooding)
Issues caused by landscape alterations, design changes, or modifications
Damage from animals, rodents, vandalism, or lawn care equipment
Coverage issues related to plowing or other external factors

To maintain warranty eligibility, homeowners must renew their membership annually. The warranty becomes void if another irrigation contractor performs system start-ups, repairs, or winterization. Additionally, NorthTech Irrigation cannot warranty products installed or supplied by others, such as city-issued controllers or plumber-installed backflow preventers.

Examples of Covered Warranty Issues:

Rotors – Not rotating
Spray heads – Not retracting
Valves – Not turning off
Backflow preventers – Cracks or leaks caused by our winterization services
